We were traveling in a large group of 20 and really wanted to tour the city. We thought it would be best if we went along with a tour guide who was familiar with the area and fortunately we synced up with. I thought it was going to be awesome to see the city, but it turns out we had more fun talking to the guys, hearing their journey from the slums and where they are today!! It was so fascinating to hear about what they do and they all were incredibly fun to be around throughout the trip. PLUS…. We got a bonus lesson as an add-on where they spent 30min teaching us street smarts and how to avoid getting pick-pocked for future travel. LOVED IT!!
