That was a great afternoon I spent with these local musicians/tour guides who took me to the slam of Nairobi. They were all born and grew up in there but now work hard to raise awareness of the situations and help improve the conditions for the younger generations. Part of the proceeds goes to a great cause they support. It gave me a whole new perspective of slam. So it turned into a great learning experience to me. Experience it for yourself.
